Indoor Gardening

The first thing to consider when starting with indoor gardening is how much light does the plant need. You can´t grow plants in the house that need lots of light. If you don´t have the money to supply your plants with artificial lightning you should get those who need low or medium light. There are so many of those so you should ask for help from specialists when choosing them in the shop.

To give your indoor garden new energy it is useful to put your plants outside in the summermonths. During winter it is also useful to spray the plants with water in the morning. That gives them the needed moisture as during winter the humidity falls as the heat is on and the plants can get dry leaves. Plants that are growing very quickly indoors shoud be fertilized every 2-3 months but not too often as there is also the possibility of over fertilizing.

Flowers are not the only possibility what to grow. An indoor herb garden is attractive, smells good and you´ll always have fresh herbs right on hand if you want to use them for cooking.

If you start with indoor gardening you should realize that taking care of it will have to become a part of your daily routine. But think about how important it is to have indoor plants. They are good for your health as they remove toxins and pollutants and release oxygen.
