How to decorate birdhouses?

1. Using a sponge brush, paint the roof of the birdhouse.

2. Paint the inside of the birdhouse purple. Paint the outside with ivory paint.

3. Here's an easy way to paint flowers: Dip the eraser end of a pencil in paint, and press dots onto the birdhouse in a small circle. Choose bright colors such as purple and red, and add a yellow dot in the center.

4. To paint leaves, using green paint, press a round brush onto the birdhouse surface and lift.

5. Using green paint and a liner brush, add vines to connect the leaves and flowers.

Variations

Paint stars and stripes with red, white and blue paint to make an all-American birdhouse.

Stencil ivy vines on a white birdhouse.

Color a pear-shaped birdhouse bright yellow.
